Christmas Time & Advent Markets for All the Senses
Hall Advent Market
The traditional market in Hall is perfect if you're looking for a charming and peaceful Advent atmosphere.
Opening hours:
Monday to Friday: 3 PM – 8 PM
Saturday: 11 AM – 8 PM
Sunday: 1 PM – 8 PM
December 24: usually in the morning, from 10 AM to 1 PM
Innsbruck’s Christkindl Markets
Old Town (Golden Roof): November 15 – December 23, 2025 | Daily 11 AM – 9 PM
Maria-Theresien Street: Late November – early January | Daily 11 AM – 9 PM (retail mostly until 8 PM). Special hours on December 24 & 31.
St. Nikolaus & Wilten Markets: Smaller, quieter markets – ideal for families or anyone wanting to avoid the big crowds.

Winter Fun – No Skis Required
Here are a few lovely activities that are just as enjoyable without skiing:
Tobogganing at Glungezer
The toboggan run at Glungezer (take the Tulfein Express to the top, then sled down to Halsmarter) is fantastic – a wide and scenic forest road with bends and stunning views over the Inn Valley.
Sled rentals are available, and you can easily return via gondola – no big climb required.
Cross-Country Skiing in Seefeld
The Seefeld high plateau offers over 245 km of groomed trails in all levels of difficulty – whether classic or skating style. Perfect for beginners or relaxed tours through snowy nature.
There are also night trails, so you can glide under the stars after dark.
Wellness & Swimming
When it’s freezing outside, there’s nothing better than warming up indoors and treating your body and mind to a little break. Around Innsbruck, you’ll find plenty of options – from family-friendly pools to luxurious spas.
